DCPC supports the following missions from around the world:
The Good Shepherd Hospital in Tshikaji, Democratic Republic of the Congo, especially to help with the work of Michael and Nancy Haninger.
Michael is a physician serving at Good Shepherd, focusing on education for reducing maternal and newborn injury and death. Nancy is a nurse-midwife assisting in direct patient care, health promotion, and disease prevention. She is also deeply involved in the Moringa Tree Malnutrition Project. Moringa trees are fast growing and drought resistant. All parts of this tree are edible and nutritious. The leaves, pods, flowers, roots, and bark offer an array of protein, calcium, minerals, iron, and several important vitamins.
The Near East School of Theology in Beirut, Lebanon is an inter-confessional Protestant seminary serving the evangelical church of the Middle East. N.E.S.T trains pastors and church workers for ministry in the churches and other evangelical organizations in the Middle East. It is also concerned with the continuing theological education of the laity.
The Council of Protestant Churches of Nicaragua (CEPAD) is a Christian non-profit, non-partisan association of social concern working to serve poor communities, promoting justice, peace, and equality solidarity with the aim of improving quality of life. CEPAD is intimately involved with DCPC and our partnership in the Kilambe region of Nicaragua.
