2010-2011 Preschool Registration Information
* Registration Forms will be available in the Preschool office February 1 - February 19 from 9:15 am-12:15 pm.
* All forms are due no later than 12:15 pm on February 19, 2010.
* A $75.00 check and the registration form must be submitted to go through the registration process. The registration fee is refundable only if you do NOT get into the program. Transitional Kindergarten students must add the first month's tuition to their registration fee.
* Currently enrolled students are guaranteed a spot for the upcoming school year.
* Please make sure you fill out the registration form completely.
* Note class preference on the form, distinguishing between your first and second choices.
* Everything will be done to coordinate siblings' schedules. Please note on form if you do not want schedules coordinated.
* PLEASE ADDRESS ATTACHED ENVELOPE TO YOURSELF. THERE IS NO NEED TO ADD A STAMP, WE WILL PAY THE POSTAGE.
* On March 3, letters will be mailed out notifying you of your child’s position in the program. This letter will contain the remainder of the paperwork needed for fall enrollment. Paperwork is due by May 1st. If your child receives your second choice, he or she will automatically be placed on the waiting list for the first choice class. If your child does not get into the program, the registration fee will be returned, along with information about his or her position on the waiting list.
* For the twos through fours classes, May 2011 tuition is due by May 10, 2010. This tuition is refundable if you move out of the area prior to February 2011. If tuition is not paid by May 10, 2010, the placement will be forfeited. If any families need financial assistance please let the office know; scholarships are available.
*As noted above, Transitional Kindergarten tuition for May 2011 is due at the time of registration. This is refundable ONLY if your child does not get into the program. In addition, an additional month's tuition is due by May 10, 2010, which will be credited to you in the school year. This is non-refundable.
* The birth date cut-offs have been changed to August 31 to comply with North Carolina state guidelines for entrance into to Kindergarten. This will apply to all classrooms.
* DCPC Weekday Preschool conducts monthly chapel lessons.
* Open house for Transitional Kindergarten is Tuesday, February 16, at 11 am in Lingle Chapel.
* Open house for all other preschool classes will be held on Friday, February 12, at 10 am and Tuesday, February 16, at 10 am.
