The Pines Connection

Nestled in one of Davidson’s beautiful, quiet neighborhoods, The Pines is a continuing care retirement community with over 300 residents that opened in 1988. Born out of the vision and generosity of the congregation of DCPC, who raised the funds to start The Pines, the congregation has continued to be an integral part of the spiritual life of The Pines.  Pines residents are a vital part of this congregation, providing leadership, wisdom, and energy to the life of this church.

The Pines Connection is a way to promote fellowship and share activities between residents of The Pines and other members of our DCPC congregation.

The Pines Connection Committee is currently seeking new members. We meet the first Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. in room 206. The committee is composed of deacons, who provide leadership; church members who are seeking to build relationships and share their time; and a group of Pines residents who provide guidance and help coordinate the many activities the church sponsors. We are also seeking volunteers to serve at the Pines.
