Lib McGregor Simmons          Pastor/Head of Staff  

Lib began her ministry at DCPC in April 2008.  Prior to serving DCPC, she served as the pastor of University Presbyterian Church in San Antonio, Texas. She is a graduate of Agnes Scott College and Columbia Theological Seminary. She and her husband, Gary, have a grown son.

Robert Alexander                   Associate Pastor for Discipleship and MissionRobert2 014

Robert is a graduate of NC State University, the Presbyterian School of Christian Education, and Columbia Theological Seminary. He is passionate about worship, spiritual formation in families, and mission. Robert has led a variety of national and international Mission Teams. Closer to home, he loves connecting people with ministries where they can share their gifts in service to God. He enjoys playing guitar, running, and watching movies. He lives in Cornelius with his wife Jenny and their three children.

Mary Margaret Porter      Associate Pastor for Visitation

A Charlotte native, Mary Margaret graduated from Davidson College and Duke Divinity School. In addition to sharing in preaching responsibilities, her ministry focuses on seniors, visitation and pastoral care. Mary Margaret enjoys reading and the outdoors. She and her husband Fritz have two children.

Stephanie Sorge Wing     Campus Stephanie pic1Associate Pastor for Campus Ministry

Stephanie is a graduate of Kenyon College and Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. After college, Stephanie worked as a Campus Organizer with a nonprofit organization in Massachusetts, and she is excited to return to working with college students at DCPC. She and her husband, Andy, Pastor of Ramah Presbyterian Church, moved to Huntersville in July of 2013, three weeks before the birth of their son, Isaac. Stephanie has served as Pastor, Interim Pastor, and Supply Pastor for churches in Kentucky, and has enjoyed the opportunity to write for publications such as The Present Word and Being Reformed.

Sonia Lee     Educator for Youth

Sonia Lee is a graduate of Clemson University, College of Charleston, and the Presbyterian School of Christian Education.  While serving her first congregation, John Calvin Presbyterian in Metairie, LA, she earned the PCUSA’s Certification as a Christian Educator and was ordained as a Ruling Elder.  Sonia is an avid Parrothead (Fins up!) who loves Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and cheering for the mighty Clemson Tigers.   In her play time, she enjoys camping, reading, Farkeling, spending time at the beach, chilling with friends on her “Dock,” laughing from the depths of her soul, and re-creating with the community of faith.

Leslee Kirkconnell         Interim Director of Christian Education

Leslee is a native New Yorker, yet has lived in the south since attending Maryville (TN) College.  Following a year in Alabama, she attended the Presbyterian School of Christian Education, where she met and married her husband Glenn. Leslee has served as Director of Christian Education at First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville, FL. where also she earned Certification as a Christian Educator.  Immediately prior to coming to DCPC, Leslee was Resource Center Director and Educator for the Presbytery of Tampa Bay, where she was also ordained a Ruling Elder at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church. She and Glenn enjoy spending time with family, playing with their parrots, taking walks together and playing a variety of board games.

Jane Cain     Director of Music

Jane Cain has served as DCPC's music director since 1979.  She directs or oversees nine vocal and handbell choirs and plays the organ. Certified as an associate of the American Guild of Organists, she also holds a bachelor of music degree from Salem College and master of music from UNC-Chapel Hill. She and her huband, Larry, have two grown children.

David Brinson2

David Brinson                                Associate Director of Music

David is a native of Matthews, North Carolina and he earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Music Performance with a concentration in Sacred Music from Appalachian State University, where he majored in organ, voice, and choral studies. In 2009 he earned a Masters of Sacred Music with a concentration in Organ from Emory University  In 2013 David earned Certified Church Musician certification. David and his wife Kelli have a son and a border collie.

Stephanie Rollans     Director of Congregational Life

Stephanie joined the staff in March of 2010. Stephanie is no stranger to our congregation, as she has been involved in many aspects of DCPC’s ministry, from chairing the Pines Connection  to moderating the Diaconate. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing and a minor in International Business. Stephanie lives in Mooresville with her two children, Aaron and Anna.

Harriett Rosebrough    Church Administrator

Harriett Rosebrough joined the DCPC staff in 2015.  Her earlier career was in public accounting and the banking industry, focusing on corporate tax.  Harriett and her husband Doug live in Cornelius and have two daughters and one grandson.

Rhonda Boggs       Administrative Assistant

Rhonda joined the DCPC staff in April 2011. She moved to Davidson from Asheville, NC where she was  Accounting Assistant and Contract Administrator for a landscape company. Rhonda attended AB Technical Community College and Gaston College. She spends her free time taking pictures of beautiful Lake Norman, as well as swimming and boating. Rhonda also enjoys spending time with her son and family.

Julie Nardella                                  Administrative Assistant

Julie joined the DCPC staff in October 2013. Originally from Northern, VA, she graduated from Elon College with a Computer Science degree, worked as a programmer/web developer in Northern VA and relocated to Cornelius, NC at the end of 2000. Her career switched into the accounting field, before staying home with her two children, Alec and Ava Jean. She has since returned to work part time in administrative roles. Julie enjoys spending time with family and friends and helping others.

Trish Jones     Bookkeeper

Trish Jones stayed at home with her children until two years ago when she started working part-time as DCPC's bookkeeper. She and her husband, Brad, have twin girls and two Labrador retrievers. They live in Mooresville and are all Clemson fans.

Kristin Clark     Weekday Preschool Director

Kristin Clark has been the preschool director since the summer of 2003. She has 17 years of experience in early childhood education. Her family moved to North Carolina from Houston, Texas in 2001. She is a proud Texas Tech University alumnus. She and her family live in Sherrill’s Ford, where she serves as the PTO president of Sherrill’s Ford Elementary.

Jan Tevepaugh     Assistant Preschool Director

Jan Tevepaugh joined the staff in 1993 and has served as a teacher in the threes and fours classrooms before becoming assistant director. She is a lifelong member of DCPC. She and her husband, Mark, live outside Davidson and have two grown children.
