Christian Weddings at DCPC
Marriage is a gift God has given to all humankind for the well-being of the entire human family. In a service of Christian marriage, a life-long commitment is made by a woman and a man to each other, publicly witnessed and acknowledged by the community of faith. In conformity with this understanding of Christian marriage, we expect that at least one of the partners is a professing Christian.
The sanctuary, its chancel, and the chapel are available for weddings, by permission of the Session, to the following groups:
- Members of the church and their immediate familiies
- Current students of Davidson College or alumni who have graduated within the past 10 years
