Youth Ministry at DCPC
Youth at DCPC are in 6th grade through 12th grade. There are lots of different ways that youth can get involved in the life of Davidson College Presbyterian Church. Typically youth are divided into middle school and high school groups, though there are opportunities for interaction with youth of all ages.
Sunday School meets from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. in the Congregation House.
Youth Choir meets from 7 - 8 p.m. in the choir room. Click here for information about choirs and handbells.
Youth Connection, which provides opportunities for fellowship, serice, worship and study, meets during the school year on Sunday nights, from 5 - 7 p.m. in the Congregation House. (Check schedule above for weekly specifics.)
Confirmation is a year-long process of learning what it means to be a disciple of Christ in preparation for joining the church.
The youth have an opportunity to participate in several special trips through out the year, including fall retreats, a ski weekend, the 30 Hour Famine, and summer conferences and mission trips. Youth must have a Care Covenant/Yearlong Permission Form on file to participate in any events away from the church.
