Youth Connection

Youth Connection is divided into Middle and High School groups.  On a typical Sunday during the school year, both groups will meet at the Congregation House from 5 - 7 p.m., hang out in the youth lounge, eat dinner together and then divide for separate programs.

Youth enjoy five different types of programs, which rotate from week to week.

They may also sign-up to participate in special interest small groups which meet for 6-8 weeks in the fall and spring.

Worship

Worship events are creative opportunities for worshipping in a youth-accessibe style. DCPC's youth are extremely creative when it comes to worship and enjoy leading groups from DCPC and other churches, as well as providing opportunities for the entire congregation to worship with them.

Worship events include a service for wholeness, spontaneous worship, and station worship.  Youth also lead the congregation in a fall intergenerational event, Middle School Youth Sunday, High School Youth Sunday, and the traditional Christmas Pageant and White Gift service.

Service events allow the youth to give back to the local community.  Youth also engage in service projects for DCPC and for members of the church who might need an extra hand.

Service events include Operation Christmas Child, helping DCPC members with yard work, CROP walk, tutoring for Amigos de Cristo, the 30 Hour Famine, and Loaves and Fishes.
