Last Chance to sign-up for Middle School Mission Possible, March 14th.

30 Hour Famine

(February 27-28,2010) Middle and High School youth join youth from around the Charlotte Presbytery to fast with a purpose.  While making new friends, youth learn about global poverty, participate in a candlelight vigil, take part in worship exchange and much, much more.

 

Massanetta Springs Middle School Conference

 

(June 17-20, 2010) This three-day conference at Massanetta Springs Conference Center is just for middle schoolers. Participants will meet many new friends in their small groups, as well as grow closer with their friends back home. Massanetta Springs offers many opportunities for fellowship, worship, and exploring faith in workshops.

Middle School Mission Possible

(June 28-July 2, 2010) Our Middle Schoolers participate in a summer mission experience with four other churches from Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Maryland. Each summer, the groups gather to serve in the community of one of our Mission Possible partners. In 2010, the mission trip group will head to Atlanta to stay and work out of our partner church, Pleasant Hill Presbyterian.

High School Mission Trip

(July 11-17, 2010) Each summer the high school youth participate in a mission trip.  Trips rotate through rural, urban, educational, and international mission trips. This past year, youth took part in an Urban Poverty Train Trip. This summer, we're headed to the Gulf Coast for disaster relief work with Presbyterian Disaster Assistance.

Montreat High School Youth Conference

(July 25-31, 2010) Located in the mountains of western North Carolina, Montreat becomes becomes home to over 1,000 youth a week for six weeks . Rising 9th graders to graduated seniors participate in small groups, wake up with energizers, hear keynote speakers, and worship daily. Check out the website!

High School Beach Trip 

(September 18-20, 2009) – What a better way to get to know one another better than cooking out, splashing in the waves and sinking your toes in the sand with old and new friends? This year's high school fall trip is a beach trip to Ocean Isle. It's a chance to enjoy and get to know one another in God's beautiful nature.

 Middle School Charlotte Adventure

(October 10-11, 2009) – Each fall the youth take part in a fun weekend event that included adventure (Carowinds, rafting, etc.), sleep-over, worship and service.

Middle & High School Mini-Mission 

(January 16-18) Each spring DCPC Youth take part in a weekend mission trip along with their friends from Harpeth Presbyterian Church in Tennessee.  Youth take part in meaningful service projects. They also enjoy worship and fellowship opportunities in the city where they serve. This year's trip is to Asheville, North Carolina.

Ski Trip

(January 30, 2010) Each year the High School and Middle School youth take part in a ski trip. This year, the Middle and High School will take a day trip to Winterplace where youth may ski, snowboard or snowtube.
