Memorial Services at DCPC
Memorial, Funeral, and Committal Services are acts of worship within the Christian community. The purposes of such services of worship are to glorify God, to affirm our belief in the resurrection to eternal life, and to comfort the bereaved. DCPC member, Bill Jackson, died June 8th . Please keep his wife, Judith, and their family in your prayers. A memorial service is scheduled for July 18th at 3:00 in the sanctuary with a reception following in the Burris Gathering space.
DCPC Sam Maloney died on July 5, 2026, at 102! He is the namesake for our Maloney Sunday School Class. Read more about Sam here.

James Funeral Home transported his Whole Body Donation to Wake Forest School of Medicine.
