Memorial Services at DCPC
Memorial, Funeral, and Committal Services are acts of worship within the Christian community. The purposes of such services of worship are to glorify God, to affirm our belief in the resurrection to eternal life, and to comfort the bereaved. Anne S. White, 99, passed away on October 25, 2025.
A memorial service will be held at The Pines of Davidson on
January 3, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.
Over the course of a rich and full life, Anne volunteered for and supported many causes. In lieu of flowers, donations to any of these organizations would honor her memory: Planned Parenthood; Habitat for Humanity; Davidson College Presbyterian Church; The Locke White Family Scholarship Fund at Davidson College; The Resident Entry Fund at The Pines of Davidson; or any charity devoted to fostering democracy, voting, and civic engagement (such as Common Cause, Fair Fight, or The League of Women Voters).
