Faith Formation

Children In Church

Children in Kindergarten and older are encouraged to worship with the family. We provide children’s bulletins (for readers), worship activity bags (for all ages), and worship notes (for older children) at the entrances to worship spaces.  In the sanctuary, rocking chairs are provided for families with babies.

​

A comfort room (lower level room 13) streams each worship service on TV, providing worship for an adult while children enjoy the space.  A rocking chair and a changing table are also available.

​

On Sunday mornings from 8:30 a.m.- Noon, childcare is provided for children ages 0-6 in the lower level room 14.  During construction (March 10 - September 2024), child care is located next door in the Watson Building.

***  Due to construction,  March 10 - April 28 all classes will meet next door in the Davidson College Watson Life Science Building.

Connections (Jetton Hall): For parents of children 5th grade and under. Meets weekly, September thru May, for fellowship, personal growth, and growth as parents.

Vision statement: Parents of young children focused on faith, family and fellowship. A variety of education, fellowship, and service opportunities are planned each quarter. Review Friday emails and Steeple Talk.
