A Word of Welcome

UKirk, like DCPC, is a welcoming, affirming, and inclusive ministry of the Presbyterian Church (USA). This means that whoever you are—in all your strengths, limitations, passions, and identities—and wherever you are on your faith journey, you will be welcomed here. Whether you are just dipping your toes into the waters of faith, or you’re a lifelong Presbyterian, we are here to support you as you discern what faith looks like for you.

There are a variety of ways to explore your faith in college, and you’ll find UKirk’s and DCPC’s opportunities on this page. You can reach out to our Campus Minister or anyone on our Student Leadership Team (listed below) for more information. We hope you’ll join us!

Service

We usually participate in 1-2 service opportunities per semester, including DCPC Day of Service and Room in the Inn.

Fellowship

UKirkers hang out outside of Mondays, too! We have small groups and try to attend each other's recitals, plays, games, etc. together!

DCPC Relationship

DCPC has been loving and supporting Davidson College students basically since our church was founded!

There are many ways Davidson students are involved in the life of the church!

Worship

Join us for worship one Sunday! UKirk students lead as liturgists often and lead the whole service once per year on UKirk Sunday!

Volunteer

Davidson students are involved in nearly every ministry area at DCPC: Youth, Children's Ministry, Pres-School, Music Ministry and more! Find the list of current opportunities here.

Adopt-a-Student

Students can be paired with a DCPC member family for a "family away from home." Students and families can meet as often as they like and for whatever activities interest them: sharing meals, attending worship, rides to the airport, etc.! Sign up here to be paired with a family!
